On this page you can find out which cookies and similar technologies we use on www.feuerwerk-belgien.com, what we use them for, how long they are stored and how you can give, change or withdraw your consent. 2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are sent to your browser by the server of a website or by a third party when you visit the website and are stored there. On later visits your browser sends them back so that the website can, for example, keep your cart or display your language. In addition to cookies, there are similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage. When we speak of “cookies” in this policy, these technologies are included.
- First-party cookies are set by our own domain (www.feuerwerk-belgien.com).
- Third-party cookies are set by another domain (for example youtube.com).
- Session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain stored until the stated expiry or until you delete them.
3. Legal basis
We may set strictly necessary cookies without your consent because the website and the online shop would otherwise not work (Art. 10/2 of the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data; for users in Germany Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). We base the associated data processing on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract, e.g. cart and order) and point (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functional website).
We set all other cookies only if you have clicked “I agree” in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 10/2 of the Act of 30 July 2018 or Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (see section 6).
4. Which cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies (without consent)
These cookies are always set. Without them, the cart, ordering and security functions do not work.

No online payment takes place; payment is made exclusively on site.
4.2 Statistics (only with consent): Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors use our website (e.g. which pages are viewed) in order to improve our offer and usability. The Google Analytics script is only loaded after you have clicked “I agree” in the cookie banner. Before that, no connection to Google Analytics is established and no analytics cookies are set.

Google Signals is deactivated, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising purposes. User and event data are deleted in Google Analytics after 2 months. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D04 E5W5, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 4.3 External media (only with consent): YouTube videos
On some product pages we embed product videos from YouTube (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D04 E5W5, Ireland). The videos are only loaded once you have clicked “I agree” in the cookie banner. Until then you only see a notice in place of the video; no connection to YouTube is established and YouTube sets no cookies. Via the notice you can open the cookie banner.
After your consent, YouTube may, among other things, set the following cookies and use your browser’s local storage when loading and playing a video:

If you are logged into a Google account, YouTube can assign the visit to your account. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 5. Cookieless visitor statistics from Odoo (Plausible)
In addition, we use the visitor statistics integrated in Odoo, provided by our hosting provider Odoo S.A. (Chaussée de Namur 40, 1367 Grand-Rosière, Belgium) as a processor. Technically, the analytics software “Plausible” is used; the script is loaded from download.odoo.com and the measurement data goes to saas-analytics.odoo.com. These statistics set no cookies, store nothing in your browser’s local storage and create no profiles across several days or websites. Only aggregated information is recorded, such as page visited, referring website, browser, device type and the country derived from the IP address; the IP address itself is not stored.
Because no cookies are set, these statistics run without consent. We rely on our legitimate interest in data-minimising audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time, e.g. by email to hello@fireworks-belgium.be; details can be found in our Privacy Policy.
6. Giving, changing or withdrawing consent
Cookie banner: On your first visit, our cookie banner appears. With “Only essentials” you only allow the strictly necessary cookies (section 4.1). With “I agree” you additionally consent to statistics (Google Analytics), external media (YouTube videos) and optional features (sections 4.2 to 4.4). The website is fully usable in both cases; without consent, only YouTube videos are not displayed.
Duration of your choice: We store your choice in the cookie “website_cookies_bar” for 999 days. After that, we ask you again.
Changing your choice or withdrawing consent: You can reach this page at any time via the link in the website footer. Here you can reopen the cookie banner with the button “Show the cookies bar” and change your choice. To withdraw your consent, click “Only essentials” there. The withdrawal applies for the future; the lawfulness of the processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
Cookies set before your withdrawal (e.g. _ga) remain stored in your browser until they expire or you delete them. After the withdrawal we no longer use them. You can delete them at any time via your browser settings.

If you block strictly necessary cookies, the cart and ordering will no longer work.
Do Not Track: We do not currently evaluate “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no binding standard for them.
